In the spirit of our new look and daily themes we thought we would get a head start and give you our first Thirsty Thursday recipe. One of our fan favourites, the Banana Split Smoothie, is a delicious way to start your day!

Banana Split Smoothie

What you need:

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 1 scoop Juice Plus Complete Dutch Chocolate shake mix, or your favorite protein/meal replacement powder

  • 1 Tbsp raw cacao powder

  • 1 Tbsp raw cacao nibs

Directions:

  • Place all ingredients, except cacao nibs, in a Vitamix Blender.

  • Using the plunger blend until smooth

  • Pour into your favourite glass

  • Top with cacao nibs

  • Enjoy!
