The Carnival, found exclusively at Veg-In YYC, is a curry-based veggie burger patty topped with channa masala and a special tamarind sauce. The hint of coriander mixed with the traditional curry and sweet tamarind is a surprising gift to the tastebuds, enticing bite after bite. Served on a fresh, soft, mouthwatering, vegan, multigrain bun and topped with lettuce, onion and avocado. This burger was served with extra masala sauce,a honey mustard dip and a compostable plate.
Why do you want this burger?
1) It's pretty healthy. Fresh, wholesome ingredients, not as many veggies as the Classic but you do not want to mess with the flavour of this eclectic beast. This burger is a creative and delicious twist that will have your mind searching for the words to describe what your mouth is experiencing.
2) Don’t want a side? No problem, a la carte it is. Choose yam fries, regular fries or a side salad. These fries are Lindy Approved, crisp, seasoned to perfection and delish.
3) This is a small grab n’ go cafe so the dining experience is minimal. HOWEVER, the owner and staff will make you feel like you are one of the family from the moment you walk in the door. The compostable plate is a HUGE plus. If grab n' go is what you need, we have said it before, this is the place!
4) The cost of the burger is only $9.00, plus the cost of a side of your choice. This is such a great price and the option of having side or not is something you don’t often see.
