Brown's Social House in Mount Royal Village, 140-880 16TH AVE SW, is one of two locations in Calgary. The restaurant has a fun atmosphere and summery, especially when the weather is nice enough to sit on the patio or by the open patio doors.
Our favorite veggie item so far on the menu is the Spa Veggie Burger. This veggie burger has it all when you're looking to satiate that need to feed. It’s messy, has an abundance of flavour and a soft, white bun that puts most to shame. The patty has the consistency and taste of a good old junky chain burger, but better. The sauces and jack cheese (vegans can ask for no cheese) amp it up, firing off all taste buds.
This burger comes with fries but you can switch them out for salad, edemame, yam fries or poutine for only $2. If you giddy up order the Cowgirl or Cowboy salad for your side you’ll wonder how this balance of good and evil have been a secret for so long. Greens, walnuts, dried cranberries, feta with either the Cowgirl or boy dressing - you will not be disappointed.
Why you want this burger:
1) This is a great burger that will make you think you are eating an A & W teen burger but really you are getting the goodness of veggies!
2) The fries are yummy and the salad as your side is even better!
3) The restaurants are a great place to chill out! Each Brown’s is a little unique but they are all very welcoming, funky, fun and the perfect place to relax after a long day of work.
4) The cost of the burger is $14.95, which includes fries .. so not a bad dinner out!
