House-Made Organic Veggie Burger - Local on 8th

It's a Thursday night. The workout is done and we are hungry. Always on the quest for the best veggie burger we decide to check out Local on 8th in Calgary, Alberta Canada (Our hometown).
We walked in on a busy night. The places is bustling with hungry, and thirsty, patrons. Although we found the place to be a little loud, the service was great and the food was even better.
The organic house-made veggie burger comes with a side of show-string fries. Since I (Rachel) am vegan I ordered my burger without the swiss cheese and Lindy tried the full vegetarian version. They are both amazing!
It soon came to the table and we were immediately impressed with the presentation and size of the burger. It's huge!
The bun is perfectly toasted and it's jam packed with fresh ingredients including avocado, sprouts, lettuce and tomato. We are blown away by the first bite! WOW! This flavourful burger surprised us especially since it was made in a pub kitchen.
What we really love about this burger is it is house-made. This means it will be super fresh.
and it's organic. We are all about fresh and organic ingredients.
Why you want this burger:
1.This burger was bursting with flavour and we loved the fresh ingredients. It tasted like it was from a five star restaurant.
2. The fries were delicious but are not Lindy Approved - Crispy is where it's at!
3. The environment is vibrant. It lost three points because even though it's a cool place to chill out it was very loud and the guy next to us kept hitting on Lindy.
4. The cost of the burger is $14.25, which includes fries. This is pretty good value for what you get.
5. You just want it!
We will definitely visit Local on 8th for this baby again!
